Since 2009, The Veterans’ Place has provided supportive housing and programs to homeless veterans throughout Northern New England. Committed to delivering the highest quality of care, we offer a fresh start for servicemen in need.

Structured Transitional Housing

We operate a 19-bed transitional housing facility for veterans in need of housing while recovering from medical or addiction issues, or simply a place to live following a life-altering event. Learn more.

Meals and

Other Services

As a resident, you will have access to food at no cost and will be provided home-cooked dinners seven days a week (weekend dinners are prepared by the residents). In addition, you will have free access to commercial-grade laundry facilities, as well as a wide range of activities. Learn more.

A Plan to Overcome Homelessness

Our compassionate and qualified team will help you create an individualized plan to overcome homelessness. Plans focus on access to medical and mental health care; substance use counseling and support programs; transportation to the VA in White River Junction; help with increasing income through employment or disability benefits; and support identifying and  support securing and sustaining permanent housing. Learn more.

Wellness Support, Guidance, and Accountability

Our structured living environment offers clearly defined rules and expectations, with onsite staff and a robust circle of support available to you as a resident. You will have access to a fully-equipped onsite fitness/wellness center, and the opportunity to participate in yoga, meditation, and mindfulness classes. Click here to learn more.
